About Us

After years of development, PlasmaMade entered the market in 2013 with a revolutionary filter system specially designed for the extractor hoods in the kitchen industry. Our PlasmaMade Air Filter can be placed directly on every extractor hood, which makes an external duct to the outside no longer necessary.

The advantages of this are a direct saving of the heating or air conditioning costs because the air is not discharged outside but remains in the house; this is what we call recirculation. Plus you'll save thousands on replacement filters and on design and construction costs that involve external ducts, which are no longer necessary.

We are hoping to give you a small insight into our philosophy. PlasmaMade will continue to improve the filters for your health and ease of cooking in the coming future. Our next mission is to eliminate particulate matter released during cooking altogether. We continue to work on our philosophy: an extractor hood with recirculation should not need more than 176 CFM to achieve a good extraction.

    PlasmaMade® develops and supplies high quality recirculation filters for the kitchen industry. This includes the innovative PlasmaMade® plasmafilter with E-Technology.
    The E-Filter is a revolutionary recirculation filter that uses advanced and patented techniques for cleaning the air.

    The filter uses, among other things, Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) to clean the air. This enables the E-Filter to filter odours, particulate matter, allergens and micro-organisms from the air. Due to the active operation of the filter, it does not become saturated and has a lifespan of 10 to 15 years.
